Never too old to learn

I started learning Japanese a few years back but stop after learning for a year. I went for the N5 exam and failed. That was a great disappointment for me. I have only myself to blame. I did not study hard enough and wasted my time attending lessons from a passionate sensei.

Recently I changed my phone and rediscovered Duolingo, an app which I was using to learn Japanese previously. The app was easy to use, and it encourages me to use it daily. I have been using it for 19 consecutively. Hope this fire of mine will continue. Hopefully I will be able to retake the exam next year. The downside of the app is that you do not get to practice writing in the app. But I guess once I master the listening and reading, the writing can come later.
